Chase the Dragon's Tail
Have your pre-school student form one long line by holding onto each other's waist (much like a congo line).
The front preschooler is the dragon's head and the preschooler in the rear is the dragon's tail and wears a
colorful scarf to show his status. Instruct your students to have the dragon's head to chase and catch the
dragon's tail! Of course, the games ends if the dragon becomes broken during the chase so the students must
work together to manage the objective. This game is best for order children due to the cogntive understanding
required to not break the dragon apart during the chase. Also, you need a fairly large play area either indoors
or out to play this child care game.
Name: Chase the Dragon's Tail
Children: 10 or more
Ages: 7 & up
Place: Indoors in a large room or outdoors in a large level grassy area
Equipment: Scarf or streamer for a tail!

Chase the Dragon's Tail is so much fun to watch! Seeing the children wiggling and laughing will bring
you joy in itself! The only problem with the game is the number of children required, if you don't have enough
students it's hard to play this game.
